Overview

BMS-986453 is a study treatment that belongs to a type of immunotherapy known as chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy. This type of therapy involves T-cells being taken from the patient and being modified to be able to recognize proteins found on myeloma cells more easily. This treatment targets two proteins found on myeloma cells, BCMA and GPRC5D.
